USDT block on Bloomberg - lawyer Vasilev - VD&A

Blocked USDT addresses – what can be done?

Interview of lawyer Hristo Vasilev on Bloomberg TV

The freezing of USDT addresses has become a very big problem in 2024-2025. Tether, the company issuing USDT is increasingly blocking users’ addresses, effectively confiscating their funds. The problem is particularly severe because the victims actually have no one to turn to for assistance. Tether has no regional offices in the EU, or even in the US or any other jurisdiction with a predictable legislative framework. Tether currently has offices in the British Virgin Islands and in Hong Kong, from where communication is very difficult.

In a BloombergTV TV interview, attorney Hristo Vassilev gives basic guidelines on what to do in case your Tether address is frozen. You can also read more on the Hg.org website. For urgent assistance on unfreezing blocked USDT addresses, you can contact the VD&A team.
