By Order No РД20-872 / 30.06.2011 of the Rector of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” I was enrolled as a doctoral student. Initially, the topic of my dissertation was “Subjective Joining of Claims” /Camaraderie/. In March 2012 the thesis was changed and the new topic was “Appeal in a Litigation Process”. The plan of my thesis was also adopted a little later. It consists of five chapters and begins with a historical and comparative analysis of the topic.
Acquiring a PhD is a process of study and research aiming to solve a current problem by applying a scientific approach and using scientific methods and tools. The volume of the thesis in my major should have a volume of up to 250 pages; it should contain a study on minimum 120 titles released in the past 10-15 years, and 20% of these titles must belong to foreign authors. The dissertation must contain a substantial scientific innovation and new solutions to the problems analyzed in it. In November 2013 a new change was required to the topic of my dissertation paper, and I am currently working on the topic “Substantiation in Appeal Proceedings in a Litigation Process”. In 2015 I completed successfully my doctoral studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and I have been given the right to defend my thesis.
